Alex King (BSc Hons) studied Chemistry at the University of Durham. After a career in the Pharmaceutical industry, she taught recorder in local schools while bringing up four musical children. A founder of CMA, Alex is a viola player and singer, but passionately believes in the value of recorder ensemble playing in the development of musicianship. She arranges much of the music played by her ensembles especially for the developing talents of the individual students.
