Following a career in the Pharmaceutical industry, Alex raised four musical children. A singer and violist, Alex believes that she learned more about music playing in recorder ensembles than in any other sphere. Having directed recorder groups in various local primary and secondary schools, she builds learning and enjoyment into her repertoire and writes bespoke parts to develop individuals. Recorder playing has been described by her students as ‘the most fun you can have at CMA!’
