Choosing the right instrument is really important, so we warmly invite you to try them out and talk to the experts about which one suits your child the best.
Who is it for?
Find Your Forte instrument trials are for children currently in year 2-5. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring a younger sibling?
On this occasion, please do not bring younger siblings – this is a special time for you and your child as we guide you in your choice of instrument and explain how you can get the best out of our Find Your Forte programme.
Can I bring an older sibling?
If we have space, we may be able to include older siblings. Please give details on your reservation form and we will contact you nearer the time if we can accommodate them.
Which instruments can we try?
Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone Horn.
What will happen?
- The children will try out String, Woodwind and Brass instruments.
- Our specialists will offer professional advice to guide your choice.
- CMA’s Sinfonia Orchestra will showcase the instruments to help you to choose.
- The team will be there to answer any questions you have and explain how you and your child can get the most out of joining Find Your Forte in September.
