Celebrating 10 years

We do hope you enjoyed your time at CMA, and that you look back on many wonderful experiences of music making in this joyful, friendly community. CMA is obviously about music, but just as much, it is about people, and you, the students and families, are the core of that community.

In this, our 10th anniversary year, we are thinking of all our Alumni who made CMA what it is today.

Come and join in!

CMA is celebrating its tenth year of music making with a series of Big 10 events – we would love you to come and join us! Full details HERE.

  • Saturday 4th May: Big 10 Celebration
    • The main 10th anniversary concert, presented in two parts at Wycombe Swan – tickets from the Swan Box Office
  • Sunday 7th July: Last Night of the Proms
    • Come back and celebrate with us! Alumni and supporters join us for the Grand Finale of our 10th anniversary year! (Details below.)

Concert and Reunion

Bringing the Big 10 celebratory year to a close, the Last Night of the Proms is both a concert and a reunion event. The leavers concert will conclude with favourites played by the massed orchestra including alumni and supporters over grade 7. Stick around after the concert to celebrate with friends old and new, with live music provided by CMA students and teachers.

Register here to watch and/or to play in the massed ensemble – tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children. (If you want to play, please give your name and instrument in the additional information box.)

  • Reunion performers should arrive at 3.15 for a 3.30 rehearsal. Please bring your instrument and a music stand.
  • The concert starts at 5pm
  • Following the concert, there will be an informal celebration with music, 7-9pm

We are so looking forward to seeing you!

Tickets for CMA events are available from Little Box Office.

10 years of CMA Alumni

We would love you to keep in touch! Former students over 18 are warmly invited to fill in a super-short form HERE so that we can update you directly rather than through your parents. Join our CMA Alumni Facebook Group too, and keep up with  news, get together with old friends, and join Alumni events.

Parents too – we hope you would like to keep in touch! You may wish to come to our events, and keep up with the developing CMA community. As your own offspring move on, you might like to become a ‘Friend of CMA’ and join our family of regular supporters for as little as £5 a month. Friends help us to keep costs down, making music affordable for young families. Details can be found HERE.

If you have been receiving CMA emails and would rather not hear from us again, please email to unsubscribe.
