Jono studied music at the Universities of Nottingham (BA) and Sheffield (MMus) before joining Royal Air Force Music Services as a clarinettist in 2014. During his career in the RAF, he has performed as a clarinettist, bass clarinettist and pianist (with the RAF Squadronnaires) and travelled the world including Australia, Canada and Cyprus. An award-winning composer Jono has had original music performed at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.
He has two young children, Robin and Connie, and when he’s not making music can often be found making an escape to the mountains where he enjoys walking, reading and writing.
